Didn't quite come out, but you can have it anyway. I was hoping it would be the one with the green patch. That blob of almost-greenish out-of-focus color is just the haltere, though, I do believe. The green was not obviously a haltere.

Interesting that the other one had a rear leg of black-to-white, and now this one is yellow-to-black.

Couple of days later: Saw one that made it clear these are hoverflies, and that the green thing is indeed the haltere. Hmph. I was fairly sure of myself, too...

Later again: I thought that was the name. It seems that a lot of what people call hoverflies are fat-abdomened things that are more classically beelike in shape...hmm...
