Clinging tenaciously to its kelp. If removed, walks with an inchwormlike motion that I haven't noticed with other isopods.

Had been in an uncapped plastic five-gallon container along with gooseneck barnacles. Similar to a beach hopper in some ways, although not as reddish, flatter body, not interested in hopping.
